Birding in the Fangar
This sand peninsula of more than 400 hectares and seven kilometers in length is for many one of the most fascinating places in the Delta. Its majestic mobile dunes transport us to a desert landscape, especially in the hottest months, when temperatures rise and mirages are frequent.
Here we also find a protected area for the breeding of seabirds, one of the most photogenic lighthouses in all of Catalonia and a wild beach with views of the Sierra de Cardó and the coast of l'Ampolla and l’Ametlla.
